Paco is Finally here!

Everyone we would like you to meet the newest member of the pack, Emmett Gregory McLachlan, AkA Paco! He arrived on Friday December 19th topping the scales at 6 lbs, 11 oz. and measuring 20 inches in length. Although he is slightly smaller than me, his older, more handsome, better smelling and much faster brother, Seamus, he is a welcome addition to the pack. His arrival was long and arduous and came on the day after the state record for snow fall in the state of Idaho, 25 inches in 24 hours! Dad spent most of the day before birth just trying to get out of the driveway. Grandma Mac was nice enough to come over and get stuck in the big truck at the end of the road, yeah the roads were that bad. She did, however, bring the snow blower and dad was able to get the street in front of his house clear, not to mention the immediate neighbors driveways. This paid off big when dad and mom brought little Emmett/Paco home for the first night as one of the neighbors (who's driveway got cleared) brought over some awesome soup just when we were about to order takeout. The first night went well, with Emmett waking up every couple hours to eat and get changed. He likes to snuggle and is already after my spot in bed. We will let you know how things are in the near future. Until then, take care, drive safe, and if you get the chance, smell someone's but and let them know you care.

When is Paco going to get here???

Ok, so my guess is as good as yours. We are waiting for this little critter to get here and ursurp my place in bed. I get how the food people are all excited but this Paco creature is really going to put a kink into my sunggly time. I am excited to have another little person to play with. I hope Paco is up for nice ling runs in the mountains. You all will know when I know.

Until then,

fun with pumpkins again

Mae had a good time carving pumpkins and so did we, eventhough it took her a couple of hours to get used to her uncle Geoff, and it only took her a few minutes to get used to the guy across the street that she has never met before. She also really likes Paco, the cousin she has yet to meet in Auntie Danelle's belly,  I still think she is the bees knees, and not just because she like to pet me either.  Will post some pictures soon.  Until then, have a joyous and safe Halloween, Seamus the stinky!!!!

This ones for the therapists!!!

As a purveyor of fine paw therapists, I can, without doubt, recommend the wonderful paw therapists at NIPT. The staff is wonderful and the chemicals are good to inhale. not to mention the fact that they have some pretty good looking ladies working the place. And as we all know, I do love the ladies. Keep up the good work!!! PS there is some really good stinky stuff to roll in over at my grandpa's house if you get the chance to check it out. Until then sniff butts and bark lots! Seamus

On the road again

Hey there kiddies, your old pal Seamus here to let you all know that I am the king of the house (so long as the little lady isn't home), (and that darn cat stays in bed), (and the primary food guy is out), but other than that I am the king of the roost, just thought you all should know! Until next time, don't forget to pee on the neighbors lawn!

Blogging is HARD!!!

Ok so I can't remember which family member wanted me to start this thing but if I do finally recall who it was I am gonna nip em!  I have a hard enough time remembering all the other things I have to do, like napping, eating, harassing that darn Katie cat, eating poo, finding smelly things to rub in and other things of that sort.  So... to fill you all in Tax season was a blast here at the casa.  We could have bought a small child from another country for what was paid.  At least the money is going to something good, like war and stuff.  Other than that there is not a whole lot going on.  Geoff went to the coast for a conference and ended up getting temporarily detained at the border.  Apparently you can get across the border with just a drivers license, whatever that is, it just takes longer and the Canadians stare at you and make funny noises that sound kinda like talking but with silly accents.  The coolest part is that he came home with some really interesting new smells.  Danelle is working at a new PT clinic but is in the process of going back into massage.  I can say that Geoff is pretty happy about that as he could use a massage, who couldn't?  The rest of the fam is well and we are looking foreword to getting together soon.  Maybe even the cat!  May your walks be long and may you find good stuff to roll in, Peace, Love and all that silly hippy crap.

Happy Easter!!!

Hey all.  The pets were very busy this week.  The secondary food lady helped the primary food guy with his "Fun Run", which was a success (thanks Mom, Dad and Danelle).  We spent the weekend down in Clarkston where we got to see the fam and I got to play out side with lots of fun animals, I love it when they run!  I have been sleeping for the last few hours and will probably sleep through the night.  Geoff (primary food guy) as booked some more days of Conncting the Dots and will spend the first part of next week in Bellingham learning how to do his job better (he needs all the help he can get, God bless him).  Well that is about it for us.  Go cougs ( I really want to chase one of them) (do you think I could use more parenthesis?) Have a great week. See you soon.

Does anyone know how to add a link or a stupid slideshow?

Seriously, I don't even have opposible thumbs, how in the hell am I supposed to figure out how to add  links and slide shows to show you all what the pets are doing.  DAMN technology!!!  Until next time, sniff butts and pee on stuff.

Pet Transportation

So the primary food guy came home the other day with a new transportation device, I'm not sure that the female was very happy with it but she took it in stride.  Now that he has been working on it for a couple of days things are starting to look up.  It actually looks like it will work now.  Here are some pictures of it in it's previous state.  Hope you all enjoy.  Oh yeah, Danelle, the female, got a job with a PT clinic across the street from her old workplace.  Ironic?  Peace love and all that hippy crap.

Hey y'all

Hello my friends how are you this week?  I hope that this post finds you in good health.  Things are warming up here.  The snow is slowly going away, which makes it harder to run the pets.  Geoff, the oldest pet, is busy teaching and working for the county and the bar and for The Ovation Co.  He's thinking about picking up another job, just cause he is getting bored with some of the others.  Danelle, the pretty pet, is currently job hunting and anxiously waiting to hear if she got into school.  The cat, Katie, is busy doing whatever cats do, mostly nothing untill everyone wants to sleep and then she is all over the place, what a card that one.  I am busy training for a class I am hopefully taking this weekend.  Geoff will have to drive me to Medical lake for a bird dog retrievial class.  I will try and take some pictures.  Well that is all for now, unless anyone wants to come out and participate in Geoff's fun run he is putting on.  Just call him if you are interested.  Much love to you all.  May you sniff many butts and call all your friend.

Just time for a quick one!

Things were very busy for the pets this week.  The pretty one visited her litter mates at her mom's house and the big hairy one, primary food guy, spent most of the weekend with his friends.   He claims he was working but he mostly had fun.  Needless to say I felt I neglected them just a little as they were off doing their thing.  Today, however, I took them to the high school and tooled around with them, they are not quite as fast as I am in the snow.  It's also funny that I make them clean up after me.  They still have not been properly potty trained, they still go to the bathroom in the house, GROSS!!!  Anyway, primary food guy has to go and meet with some other primary food people to see if they can solve world peace and stuff.  Well that is it for me, you have no idea how difficult it is to type without opposable thumbs.  Until next time, sleep hard and sniff butt!

hanging with my hommies

So here i am again, doing my thing when my pets come home and get me all riled up just to make me calm down again.  What a bummer.  I thought that I was going  to get to walk them or something.  Kinda makes you wonder why people get all excited about stuff.  The real things in life are eating poop and chasing stuff the rest is just details.  TRUTH!

My Pets

They are interesting to say the least.  They take up more of your time than you think they would.  All I really want to do when I come home at the end of a long day, is to lay down on couch and take a nice nap without being interrupted.  But low and behold, my silly pets just come in and take over the couch.  What a pain.  Oh well, at least they are cute.  May all your cat chasing dreams come true.

Best wishes,
Seamus Finnigan
